When it is ready, you will have one big cake layer. You have to cut it in two parts. For the strawberry cake, you will need only one. The second you can freeze. If you bake it, you have to leave it cooling. Put the ready cake layer in the cake ring to assemble it. After that, moisten the cake layer.
