Used Kitchen Tools
Large mixing bowl
Whisk
Measuring cups and spoons
Pancake/crepe pan
Spatula
Ladle
Hand mixer
Two small bowls (for food coloring)
Sharp knife
Serving plate
Ingredients
4 medium eggs
250 ml whole milk
200 ml heavy cream (unsweetened)
~500 g all-purpose flour (approx. 4 cups)
1 tsp vanilla sugar
Red and blue food coloring
Butter for greasing pan
200 ml heavy whipping cream (for filling)
2 bananas, sliced
100 g strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp chocolate spread (e.g. Nutella)
Directions
- Preparing
Start by cracking four medium eggs into a large bowl. Use a whisk to beat the eggs until smooth. Gradually add 250 ml of milk and 200 ml of heavy cream, continuing to whisk until everything is well combined. Add a teaspoon of vanilla sugar to enhance the flavor. Then, begin slowly incorporating approximately 500 grams (or 4 cups) of flour, whisking steadily to avoid any lumps. The resulting batter should have a smooth, flowing texture—thicker than traditional crepe batter but pourable, similar to melted ice cream. Adjust the flour slightly as needed to achieve the correct consistency. - Cooking
Divide the batter into two equal parts and place them into separate bowls. Add a few drops of red food coloring to one and blue to the other. Stir each gently until you get the desired pastel shades. Lightly grease a non-stick crepe pan with butter and heat over medium. Pour one ladle of the batter into the hot pan and quickly swirl it around to cover the entire surface. Cook each crepe for 1–2 minutes or until the top looks dry and the bottom has golden-brown spots. Flip it with a spatula and cook the other side. Repeat with both colored batters until all crepes are made. - Assembly
In a clean bowl, whip 200 ml of heavy cream with a hand mixer until soft peaks form. Prepare the filling by slicing bananas into thin rounds and strawberries into flat slices. Take one pink crepe and spread a generous layer of whipped cream over it, then arrange sliced strawberries on top. Take a blue crepe, spread it with chocolate spread, and top with sliced bananas. Stack the two crepes, being mindful to keep the fruits spread out rather than centered to avoid uneven rolling. Roll gently but tightly into a log shape. - Serving
Cut each crepe roll diagonally or serve whole on a decorative plate. Garnish with extra whipped cream, strawberry slices, and banana rounds. Optionally drizzle with chocolate syrup for added indulgence. Serve immediately while fresh and light, or chill slightly before serving for a firmer roll.

Notes
- ✅ Do:
✓ Whisk the batter gently to keep it smooth and avoid overmixing, which can lead to tough crepes.
✓ Sift the flour and add it gradually to prevent lumps.
✓ Use gel food coloring for brighter colors without altering batter consistency.
✓ Distribute fruits asymmetrically for better rolling and even texture.
✓ Serve fresh or refrigerate briefly for a firmer texture.
❌ Don’t:
✗ Don’t pour all the flour at once – it increases the risk of lumps.
✗ Don’t center the filling – it makes rolling uneven and causes bulging.
✗ Don’t use high heat – it may burn the crepes before they’re cooked through.
✗ Don’t skip testing the first crepe – it helps adjust consistency or temperature if needed.
