You need
Flour, eggs, sugar and chocolate drops. The other ingredients are baking soda and baking powder.
Tools you need
Big bowl for mixing the ingredients.
Mixer for whipping the butter with sugar.
Tray and baking paper for final cooking.
Some tools for making balls from the dough. You can use even a small strainer. As I did. You can make other forms if you prefer.
Ingredients
350 g. (2,5 cups) Flour
150 g. (1 cup) Brown sugar
50 g. (4 tbsp) White sugar
2 Eggs
200 g. (1 cup) Milk chocolate drops
150 g. (1/4 cup) Dark chocolate drops
200 g. (1 cup) Butter, softened
1 tsp. Cornstarch
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 pinch Vanilla
Directions
- Start
Mix all dry ingredients. Move them aside. Put the softened butter in the bowl. Add the two types of sugar.
Set the oven temperature to 180 °C. - Cooking
Start whipping. Continue 10 minutes until the sugar starts melting. When it is ready, add the eggs. Continue for a further 5 minutes until the mixture is smooth.
Now it is the turn of the flour. Add it to the ready mixture. Whip until the flour is combined.
The final step is the drops adding. Use the mixer or spatula for the mixing. Do it until the drops distribute evenly. - Finish
Put the baking paper into the tray. Make small balls and arrange them. Leave space between them so you have enough space while baking. Leave at least three fingers of distance between them.
Bake it for 20 minutes until the edges get browned. - Serve
Serve them with coffee or tea or as dessert on a wonderful evening. Enjoy the taste!
