minutesThis recipe is very quick and has a delicious taste. You need only baguette, bacon, garlic butter, onion and cheddar. For the cooking, you need a pan to fry the bacon and bake the baguette. You need a casserole to caramelize the onion. Finally, a tray to bake in the oven. The baguette type is as you prefer.

2 Baguettes
400 g. Sliced bacon
50 g. Garlic butter
150 g. Cheddar cheese, grated
2 Red onions, sliced into circles
1 tbsp. Brown sugar
1 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Directions
- Start
Start with caramelizing the onion. In a casserole, preheat on low heat the olive oil. Add the onion sliced into circles. Cook for 15 minutes until soft. Stir periodically to prevent catching. Add the sugar and the balsamic and cook for another 10 minutes.
Preheat the pan with one tablespoon oil and put the bacon slices to bake it. Bake it for 5 minutes until browned. Turn on the other side for further 5 minutes.
Cut the baguettes in half. Be careful not to separate them completely. - Cooking
When the bacon is ready, put the baguette with the middle down in the pan. Bake for 2–3 minutes. When it is ready, turn it for another 2 minutes. Melt the butter. Smear the baguette with the melted butter. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Put part of the bacon over the baguette. Add the caramelized onion. Put the grated cheddar on the top. - Finish
Put the oven on grill cooking. Bake the baguette until the cheddar is melted. - Serve
